Children’s Ministry

Nursery: During the Worship Service and ACE hour for children 3 years or younger.

Children's Church: During the sermon portion of the service for ages 3 - 9 years old.

​Inside Out Kidz: Sunday School during the ACE hour for children's ages 3 years - 5th grade.

Jr. High and Sr. High Sunday School: During the ACE hour for 6th - 8th Grade (Jr. High) and 9th - 12th Grade (Sr. High) Students.

Imagine raising kids who are growing toward full devotion to Christ, who can meet the challenges their generation faces and be leaders for the Kingdom! Think of a place where children have so much fun learning about how awesome God is that they don't want to miss a single week. Imagine a place where children are taught biblical truths and how to apply them to live the Christian life at home, at school, and in their neighborhoods. Think of a ministry where children are intentionally shepherded in small groups where they are known and loved; where adult volunteers serve with great joy and passion knowing they are influencing the next generation of Christ's followers.

Our desire is for a child's faith to grow from the inside out. In The Message, Romans 12:2 says, "Fix your attention on God. You will be changed from the inside out." "Inside out" means to start with the most inside part of self - the heart, the character, and the motives. It is a process - an upward spiral of growth that leads to progressively higher levels of faith and understanding of God and His Word.

There are many things that contribute to a vibrant, dynamic children's ministry like the one described above. A child-targeted environment, solid, Bible-based, relevant teaching, strong leaders, committed volunteers, a clear vision and mission, and core values are a few of those things.

Inside Out Kidz is currently using a curriculum produced by AIG (Answers In Genesis), called Answers Bible Curriculum (ABC). This curriculum allows Grace to utilize the gifts and passions of our current teachers through a classroom format compatible with the ABC curriculum.

The biblical truths kids learn throughout their time during Inside Out Kidz equip them to live out their faith in the world around them. By the time our 6th graders graduate to the Junior High level, they have a firm belief in God's love and His Word. And once they enter the Jr. High, they continue the continuity of the ABc currculum at that level.

Inside Out Lil' Kidz:

A Preschool class is one of the most unique places in the church. Hands-On Bible Curriculum incorporates hands-on, active learning into every lesson. Kids move around and use fun gizmos to interact with the lesson...it's activity with a purpose. This movement allows kids to release energy and creates the type of active environment in which kids learn best. Following each activity, kids answer questions that will help them understand how to apply what they just learned to their everyday lives.

  • The 2 - 3 year-old class meets in Room 103

  • The 4 - 5 year old class meets in Room 204
